Dearest Friends,
We hope this letter finds you well and not off in some distant land meddling with dragons or stirring up trouble (as you so often do). We write to you with a most cheerful heart and tremendous excitement for it is once again time for our Annual ShireCon Celebration, our beloved gathering of good folk, hearty meals, and even heartier laughter.
From September 26th to 28th, we shall gather for 3 days of merriment, music, and marvels under the open skies. Expect starlit storytelling, riddles and revelry, a glorious roast pig turning crispy on the fire and, should a certain wizard feel so inclined. fireworks! There will be something for everyone, save for hurricanes, which are strictly forbidden. (We do think the weather shall be as cooperative as a well-fed pony).
All kindly folk of Middle- E arth are welcome: hobbits, elves, dwarves, men, wizards, and beasts of good temper are expected to attend. Bring your tents, your best cloak, your favorite walking stick, and a hearty appetite for second breakfast.
We should be most delighted if you would attend!
It simply won’t be the same without you.
